In February of 2000, I sat in the back of a rented day care facility and told Charlie Beggs
that I felt God was leading CCG to look towards Batesville as expansion for our church.
At that time we had no one attending from the Batesville area. In the months that
followed we began to see families from the Batesville area first investigating CCG,
and then becoming attendees. Soon after, they became family and friends.
Four years passed until God once again reminded me of that day in the day car.e
I began praying again about Batesville. At the National Pastors Conference in May 05’
I sat in on a seminar about multiple site churches (one church, many locations) and my heart jumped. This was what I was looking for. This made sense. I began to focus my prayers in this direction.
I asked God for affirmation. Since that conference we have seen a new surge in attendees from the Batesville area.

So why do this?
One reason only. Evangelistic outreach. To create a place for non-churched to call home.
What about the other churches in Batesville? I pray God blesses them abundantly.
There are a group of people waiting, hoping and needing a church like CCG in the Batesville area.
We are different from other churches. I may not be able to pinpoint how and why we’re different.
I just know we are.. Why do so many pass so many churches on the way to CCG

Because we’re better? – No – because we were called for them.
We don’t believe everyone in southeastern Indiana should come to CCG ,
we just want to be there for all those CCG came to southeastern Indiana for.

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back;
lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes."
.........................................................................Isaiah 54:2

We are doing this because we feel God is telling us to “enlarge the place of our tent”.
